Origin: Myanmar

Overview: This is another little gem of a fish. Well suited for a nano or species tank. While an active fish, they are not quite as "hyper" as some of the danios.

Compatiblity: Non-aggressive, should not be kept with large agressive fish.

Feeding: Not a picky eater, they will eat almost anything offered. Like most of the other danios, they are surface feeders.

Sexing: The females are usually larger and more full bodied. The males are slightly smaller and slimmer.

Breeding: Not as easy to breed as some of the other danios. Like most of the danios, the major problem is to prevent the adults from eating the eggs or the fry.
